Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run a bio-link service — your email, your login, and what you choose to put on your public page. No analytics trackers, no ads, and we never sell your data.
Buildable Labs operates Totem and is the data controller. Reach us at support@trytotem.app for anything privacy-related.
That's the whole list. No analytics scripts, no advertising identifiers, no location tracking.
| Provider | What for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase (Google LLC) | Login accounts, the profile database, and uploaded files | Email, password (hashed by Google), profile content, uploaded images/videos |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosting and content delivery | IP address, request logs |
| Google Fonts / jsDelivr / cdnjs | Fonts and interface libraries | Your IP address and browser info when the files load |
These providers are based in or store data in the United States and operate under EU-approved safeguards (standard contractual clauses / Data Privacy Framework). We don't share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
As long as your account exists. Delete your account (workspace → Settings → danger zone) and your profile, uploads, and login are erased immediately and your handle is freed. Public pages are cached for up to a minute, so a deleted page can linger that long; copies cached by search engines or other people's screenshots are outside our control.
If you're in the EU/EEA (and in most places, honestly) you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it — most of that you can do yourself in the workspace, and the rest is one email away. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP), though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.
Totem isn't for children under 13, and users under 16 in the EEA need a parent or guardian's permission. If we learn an account belongs to a child under 13, we'll delete it.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect.
